Tanzania has some of the best wildlife reserves in Africa and the most popular are Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and (to a slightly lesser extent) Tarangire. These parks are all within a few hours drive of Arusha, Tanzania's safari "capital'. There are plenty of animals to see, and safaris here are relatively expensive.

Day 1 Kilimanjaro
Arrive at Kilimanjaro. Transfer to Moivaro Lodge.

Day 2 Kilimanjaro
At Leisure at Moivaro Lodge.

DAY 3 Manyara
Drive across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara

DAY 4 Serengeti
Drive across the Serengeti among the vast herds of plains animals.

DAY 5 Serengeti
Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park

DAY 6 Ngorongoro
Visit Olduvai Gorge to see traces of pre-historic man

Day 7 Ngorongoro
Enter the Crater to see the spectacular concentration of wildlife

DAY 8 Depart
Drive back to Arusha and on to Kilimanjaro for evening departure.
