PERU
Amazon & Incas
Peru scores on mountains and lost civilizations. The Amazon headwaters
offer rafting and unique wild life reserves. The Incas, several hundred
years ago, strode out from their capital, Cuzco to form one of the world's
greatest empires. Their works still stand and rival Egypt in scale and
grandeur. The highlight is Macchu Pichu, best approached along the Inca
Trail.
