Footloose has a long association with India, based on many years experience
of running trips there. Our colleagues are leading adventure tour operators
and are highly experienced throughout India. We are able to organize trips
throughout India, whether it is a trip around the classic sights, a search
for tigers, walks in the Himalaya or the delights of the south.
Day 1: Leave UK
An overnight flight to India
Day 2: Arrive Mumbai
An afternoon a visit to Elephanta Caves by speedboat.
Day 3: Mumbai / Nagpur / Pench National Park
Game viewing in open jeep to search for jackals, hyenas and tigers.
Day 4: Pench National Park
Morning and evening jeep safaris
Day 5: Pench to Kanha National Park
A lovely drive through dense forest, cultivated fields and villages.
Day 06 & 07: Explore Kanha National Park
Two days in one of the greatest wildlife havens on earth, tracking game
on elephants
Day 8: Delightful drive to Bandhavgarh
Set out towards another green jewel of India - Bandhavgarh National Park.
Day 9 &10 Explore Bandhavgarh National Park
Over the next two days we shall explore the jungle in jeeps or on elephants.
Day 11: Drive to Umaria to board train to Agra
Board overnight train to Agra.
Day 12: Arrive Agra
Visit to the Taj Mahal and Agra fort
Day 13: Agra to Jaipur
Drive through Rajasthani village to the Pink city of Jaipur
Day 14: Jaipur
Ascending the steep road to the hilltop fortress on elephant
Day 15: Jaipur - Mumbai (fly)
Fly to Mumbai and depart for home
